A mobile app with the goal of encouraging the use of second-hand items. I became involved in this project as a member of the Google Developer Student Club at VNU-UIT, a technology university in Vietnam, during my gap year in 2021.

This is an entry for the Google Development Solution Challenge, which involves UI/UX design and visual development for a smartphone app designed to facilitate the buying and selling of used goods.

The app is tailored specifically for students and residents of the Vietnamese National University village, where most of the team’s member live. Given that many college students in this area have limited expenditure and rely on the second-hand & giveaway economy, the app aims to provide a convenient mobile platform for their needs, ranging from clothes, books to more valuable items like household appliances or motorbikes.

The visual identity of this app is designed to exude a youthful and fresh vibe, as it is primarily targeted at a younger audience, specifically college students.

Because the app’s functionality is akin to those e-commerce app on the market like Shopee or Carousell in Singapore, we followed along the line to devise the UI design for the app.
