An analysis into the Swiss Grid, a graphic design foundation, through the works and practice of Kasper Florio. This work is a studio project from the first semester in my second year at LASALLE College of the Arts.
Swiss Grid has long been a solemn pillar within the graphic design discipline. However, compared to itself half a century ago, the Grid system in the 21st century has evolved into, more or less flexible and dynamic.
Today I look into the contemporary application of the Grid by researching both visually and textually on a Swiss graphic designer duo, Kasper Florio for a better insight into how that tool is intensively practiced based on a variety of typographic standards in the industry.
I’m so happy that it received the TDC and the Red Dot in 2021!
