Design Futures Symposium 2022

Enzyme-Infused Motion Graphics for a dynamic identity. I joined this project to help with the motion graphic execution during the time I interned at Practice Theory.

Singapore Design Week 2023 featured a symposium curated by renowned curator Paola Antonelli. The event delved into the future of design and ‘design of the future,’ gathering influential minds from Singapore and around the world.

The core theme, ‘Design as an enzyme for progress,’ envisioned the future of design as if viewed through a microscope, drawing parallels with the processes of fermentation, synthesis, and mutation.

The identity design embraced the metaphorical microscope, revealing a captivating cellular motif. My role was to create motion graphics that complemented this identity.

On top of crafting static animated clips, I also had to design some customizable After Effects templates for title screen and lowerthirds. These templates allowed others to easily edit the text and modify the layout according to their needs.
